Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using The Goodenough Hotel London booking engine, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Booking Process

Reservation confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email containing your reservation details. It is your responsibility to review the information for accuracy.

Guest information: Guests are asked to provide accurate and complete guest information during the booking process. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings with inaccurate information.

Cancellation and Modification

Cancellation Policy: Guests are expected to review the Hotel's cancellation policy before making a reservation. The policy applicable to the selected rate plan details any applicable fees for cancellations.

Modification: Any modification to your reservation is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Refer to the booking modification policy.

Payment

Payment authorisation: By providing payment details, you authorise the Hotel to charge the specified amount for your reservation, in accordance with the deposit policy set out in your reservation.

A valid card is required to guarantee your reservation.

The Company accepts the following methods of payment: English Sterling, Bank Transfer, American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.

The Company reserves the right to take authorisation from a guest for any accommodation or incidental charges, unless all charges are to be settled on account.

Currency: All transactions are processed in the currency specified during the booking process.

Pricing and Availability

Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate pricing and availability information, errors may occur. The Hotel reserves the right to correct any errors.

Taxes and fees: Additional taxes and fees may apply. These will be clearly stated during the booking process.

VAT

All guest rooms are quoted inclusive of appropriate national taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. Please note that rates of tax are subject to change and the guest will be responsible for payment of taxes applicable at the time of the stay (as well as any rate increases resulting from tax increases).

Security Deposit

To enhance your experience and maintain the integrity of our facilities, we implement a security deposit process known as preauthorisation.  A preauthorisation is a temporary hold placed on a specified amount on your credit or debit card during the check-in process. Unlike a traditional charge, this is not an actual deduction from your account but serves as a security measure to cover any potential incidental expenses or damages that may occur during your stay.

The security deposit amount is set by the Hotel and is typically calculated based on the length of your stay and any potential additional charges.

Upon check-out, the preauthorised amount is released, and the actual charges for your stay are applied. The time it takes for the preauthorisation hold to be lifted may vary depending on your financial institution.

The Company reserves the right, and by signing this agreement the guest authorises, to charge the guest’s credit or debit card for any damage caused to Company property by the guest or their invitees. This includes, but is not limited to, specialist cleaning and/or items deemed to be missing or beyond repair upon departure and all unpaid items charged to the room account.

Extras

The guest shall pay the Hotel for any food, beverages and other services not expressly set out in the booking confirmation. If the cost of these extras exceeds the authorisation taken on check-in, further authorisation will automatically be requested and if such authorisation is not available, we may request another method of settlement or a deposit to be provided, failing which we reserve the right to restrict access to the guest room.

Check in / Out

The standard check in time is set from 3pm onwards. Check out is 11am the latest.

Guests may be required to confirm their identity upon check-in by providing their reservation code and their passport/identity card/driving licence. If guests are travelling from outside the UK, Ireland or any country in the Commonwealth we are also obliged by law to require guests to provide the number and place of issue of their passport and/or identity card and details of their next destination. We are required to keep these details for at least 12 months and may have to make them available for inspection in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The company reserves the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.

On the day of departure all guests are required to vacate their rooms by 11am. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the Hotel.

Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel.

Group Bookings

Bookings for 10 people or more will be considered as a group booking, including any individual bookings that are booked to accommodate groups.

Contact the reservations department on reservations@goodenough.ac.uk or call +44 (0)20 7837 8831.

Code of Conduct

The Hotel operates a strict Code of Conduct. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or team members of the Hotel.

Any breach of this policy – in the reasonable opinion of the Company – may result in the guest being refused accommodation in the future or being asked to leave the Hotel with immediate effect. Where this is the case, the Hotel shall have no obligation to refund the guest, Agent or Organiser for any aspect of the accommodation, other services or losses or expenses incurred.

Any violation of the Company’s no smoking policy will result in a fine equal to £100.00 and may lead to the immediate expulsion of any guest from the premises and will be considered a breach of policy.
