We are delighted to share that The Goodenough Hotel has officially joined the Sunflower Scheme, a widely recognised initiative that enables individuals to discreetly signal that they have a non-visible disability and may require additional support, patience, or understanding.
This milestone reflects our broader commitment as a residential and academic community to be inclusive, respectful, and responsive to individual needs.
We are especially pleased that this initiative extends across our wider organisation. Goodenough College has also become a member, alongside Goodenough House, our dedicated events and hospitality business. Together, we are embedding a shared culture of awareness and empathy across all guest, student, and event experiences.
The Sunflower Scheme is a simple but powerful tool. By recognising the sunflower symbol, our teams can adapt their approach: offering more time, clearer communication, or additional assistance where needed.
