Partnerships That Support a Global Academic Community

Students in conference at Goodenough College - in The Great Hall

At The Goodenough Hotel, every stay contributes to something larger.

As part of our not-for-profit model, all profits support the work of Goodenough College, a postgraduate community dedicated to fostering international understanding, academic exchange and lifelong connections. Central to this mission is a network of partnerships that help us identify and support exceptional individuals from around the world.

We are particularly proud of our long-standing collaboration with Cara (Council for At-Risk Academics). Through this partnership, and with the generous support of our community, five postgraduate students who were forced to flee their homes due to persecution, conflict or violence have been welcomed to the College. Here, they are not only provided with a safe place to live, but also the opportunity to continue their academic journeys within a supportive and diverse community.

Alongside this, organisations including Aurora Foundation, The British Library and Chatham House play an important role in helping us identify outstanding students who will contribute meaningfully to College life.

We are also pleased to support the Royal Academy of Arts through sponsorship of their Starr Fellowship, further extending our commitment to education and cultural exchange. Together, these partnerships ensure that the impact of every stay at The Goodenough Hotel reaches far beyond Bloomsbury.
